DMCA Policy
How copyright owners can submit infringement notices and how users may respond.
Last updated: August 18, 2026 · Diskly LLC
1. Our copyright policy
Diskly LLC respects intellectual-property rights and responds to valid copyright notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We may remove or disable access to material that is reported as infringing and may take appropriate action against repeat infringers.
2. Sending a copyright notice
If you believe material on Diskly infringes your copyright, email a written notice to [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA notice.” To help us process it, include all of the following:
- Your name, address, phone number, email address, and electronic or physical signature
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
- The exact Diskly URL or other information that lets us locate the allegedly infringing material
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner
3. What happens after a notice
We will review notices that contain sufficient information. When appropriate, we may disable access to the identified material, notify the user who posted it, request more information, or take other action consistent with the DMCA and applicable law. Sending a notice does not guarantee a particular outcome.
4. Counter-notices
If your material was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice and you believe that action was mistaken or that you are authorized to use the material, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected]. Include your contact information, signature, identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court and acceptance of service from the person who submitted the original notice.
5. Misrepresentations and repeat infringement
The DMCA may impose liability for knowingly material misrepresentations in a notice or counter-notice. Do not submit a claim unless you have carefully considered your rights. Diskly may limit or terminate access for users who repeatedly infringe copyright or otherwise misuse this process.
6. Other rights questions
This process is for copyright claims. For trademark, privacy, impersonation, or other concerns, contact [email protected] and describe the issue and the relevant URL.
